Salt, meltwater and hot tires attack a garage floor in that order
A car pulls in coated in brine, the slab warms, and salt-laden meltwater sits on the concrete and works into every pore and hairline crack. Freeze-thaw then opens those cracks further. On top of that, a warm tire parked on an uncured or thin coating lifts it when it cools and grips. This is why garage coatings fail here and not in milder cities, and why the grind, the crack repair and the cure schedule matter more than the colour.
